Remote data concentrator (RDC), also known as remote data and interface units (RDIU), conforms to ARINC664 specification and is used for data conversion between ARINC664 network and ARINC429 Bus. Powerful configuration analysis software is provided to facilitate the use and fault diagnosis of users.

Application
In the new generation avionics system, remote data concentrator (RDC) plays an important role in connecting the preceding and the following. The network architecture of avionics system is shown in the figure.
The peripheral avionics system communicates with ARINC664 backbone network through RDC equipment.
