ARINC818D2A is a high-performance ARINC818 protocol video transmission equipment, which provides 2-way (1 group of redundant) FC optical fiber ports, 1-way DVI interface and 1-way HDMI interface. The port rate supports 1.0625gbps, 2.125gbps, 3.1875gbps, 4.25gbps and user-defined non-standard transmission speed. ARINC818D2A receives the video data transmitted from DVI or HDMI video interface. According to the requirements of ARINC818 protocol, FPGA chip is used to package the video data packet in accordance with ARINC818 protocol. Finally, the video data is sent to FC optical fiber port. ARINC818D2A supports independent power supply and can adapt to various simulation and test environments.

Application
ARINC818 protocol mainly used for real-time high-definition lossless image transmission between airborne devices. Now it has been successfully applied to a number of civil and military aircrafts. It will be one of the development directions of airborne video transmission bus in the future. ARINC818D2A uses FPGA chip to realize the high-speed real-time conversion of ARINC818 protocol and digital video interface DVI. It gives full play to the characteristics of FC network, such as high speed, high reliability and low delay. It can be applied to the video transmission between display and control platform, image processing, video acquisition and other nodes.
